Now, instead of using its paper-based plotter, It uses our windows xp based interface for recording both of data & charts. The developed software ( using Turbo C++ compiler under MS DOS 3.3 ) for old PC of PU9624 FTIR Spectrometer ( SWIFT software protected by Microcosm CopyControl Key-Lock ), Changes the format of Data and Transfer it (via Serial RS232 COM port) to another PC (DadehAbzar Software on Windows XP) for advanced data and chart handling jobs.

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR) is used to identify chemical groups in substances and samples. The technique can be used for the analysis of fibres, paints, plastics, drugs and oils. Samples can be measured much more quickly than standard IR instruments and is generally more versatile.
